Ranked for the tenth consecutive year as one of the nation’s Best Children’s Hospitals by U.S. News & World Report in 2025-26 and for the sixth time as a Top Children’s Hospital by The Leapfrog Group for achievements in patient safety and quality in 2025, we’re seeking Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Pediatric Radiologists to join Wishon Radiological Medical Group practicing at Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera, California. Subspecialty interests within pediatric radiology are welcome. This is a full-time partnership opportunity, with hybrid, remote and part-time options available. The position is 100% pediatric imaging.
Wishon Radiological Medical group provides professional services for Valley Children’s Healthcare practicing at Valley Children’s Hospital. The setting is a 50-acre campus on the bluffs of the San Joaquin River with the majestic Sierra Nevada Mountains in the background. The Valley Children’s Healthcare network provides a full spectrum of pediatric services inside and outside its main campus in Madera County and incorporates a state-of-the-art, 358-bed freestanding children’s hospital, along with a medical foundation and network of physicians, clinics and satellite facilities. Those facilities include the Neonatal Intensive Care Units the network owns and operates in Fresno, Hanford and Merced, and its outpatient physician offices in Modesto, Merced and Bakersfield. The network also maintains a pediatric residency and fellowship programs in affiliation with Stanford University School of Medicine. With a vast 12-county, 145,000 square-mile service area, Valley Children’s provides Central California’s only high-quality, comprehensive care to more than 1.3 million children, from before birth to age 21, with more than 670 physicians and 3,500 staff members.
The case mix includes significant general primary pediatrics with some level 2 trauma and complex tertiary care. The Valley Children’s imaging department performs a wide range of examinations in all modalities, including advanced neuro, body, fetal and cardiac MRI techniques. This is a truly unique opportunity to be involved in high-level pediatric imaging in a private practice setting. The practice offers a collaborative and supportive team environment dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients.
The position provides a competitive compensation package, including signing bonus and/or loan forgiveness, relocation and benefits, including fully funded health, dental and liability insurance, CME allowance, retirement plan participation, and a generous vacation schedule.
