Pediatric Radiology Faculty Position
Children's National Hospital is searching for pediatric radiology faculty interested in working in our top ranked facility, offering multiple innovative clinical, research and educational opportunities. Located in beautiful Washington DC, the hospital has 325 beds, plus two satellites that provide services for over 60 specialties. There are teleradiology nightshift options, as well as hybrid full time and part time models for flexible work life balance. Those interested in growing their MSK, oncology, fetal, urology, gastroenterology expertise are particularly welcomed. Interest in outreach and policy initiatives are supported. There are career development resources tailored to individual interests with opportunities to pursue subspecialty interests. We have a supportive and collegial group ideal for both early career and experienced radiologists.
The division includes 24 fellowship trained pediatric radiologists including subspecialists in fetal, neuroradiology, interventional radiology and nuclear medicine. Pediatric radiology fellows, radiology residents, pediatricians and medical students provide a rich learning environment.
State of the art MRI facilities include 3T and 1.5T magnets with HIFU/LIFU, a 1.5T intraoperative magnet with HIFU, and a 1.5T IR MR suite. Dual energy CT, PET/CT, SPECT, CEUS, and fetal programs are well established. Two satellites include 3T MR, CT, US and fluoroscopy. Dedicated research facilities include the Developing fetal and neonatal Brain Institute, Quantitative MR research lab and the SZ Bioengineering laboratory with expertise in post processing, image fusion, navigation, simulation, and robotics.
We have a vibrant educational program with pediatric radiology, pediatric neuroradiology and pediatric IR fellowship positions. Radiology residents and fellows rotate through our program from George Washington University Medical Center (GWU), Georgetown University, and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Master Teacher, MPH, MBA courses at GWU are supported if interested.

Applicants must be American Board of Radiology (ABR) certified or eligible in diagnostic radiology. Positions have academic appointments with George Washington University.
