Medical Imaging of Lehigh Valley, P.C. (MILV), one of the largest independent private practice radiology groups in Pennsylvania, is seeking a board certified/board eligible Pediatric Radiologist full or part time. The successful candidate will join our group of over 110 radiologists and a core group of 5 Pediatric Radiologists, providing sub-specialty care throughout a network that consists of 14 hospital campuses and multiple outpatient centers within Lehigh Valley Health Network. MILV is the exclusive provider of radiology services for Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), one of the largest hospital networks in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Our mission is to provide the highest quality of sub-specialty care to all our patients. Our goal is to remain a physician owned private practice and enjoy the freedom to control our own destiny.
This continues to be an exciting time of growth in pediatric services at LVHN. Over the last 10 years, LVHN has become the region’s leader in pediatric care and boasts Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital at its Cedar Crest campus. LVHN has a fully accredited pediatric residency program. The pediatric medical staff continues to expand and currently has over 250 pediatric providers, including numerous pediatric specialists in over 30 subspecialty areas. There are 3 pediatric general surgeons, 2 pediatric ENTs, a pediatric neurosurgeon, a pediatric orthopedic surgeon, and a pediatric urologist, among many others. Pediatric care at LVHN includes a dedicated 23 bed pediatric emergency department and a Level I trauma center with pediatric certification, a 50-bed pediatric inpatient unit, a 40-bed Level IV NICU, a 12-bed Level I PICU, a children’s cancer and multipurpose infusion center, a regional burn center certified to care for children, and a pediatric sleep disorder clinic.
